Tsubasa Securities, UFJ Capital Markets to merge

TOKYO, Japan - Hirokuni Munechika (L), president of Tsubasa Securities Co., and Kimisuke Fujimoto, president of UFJ Capital Markets Securities Co., announce at a news conference at the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Nov. 22 that the two brokerage houses agreed to merge in the first half of fiscal 2002 to reinforce management by restructuring.
