New variety of mushroom shown in Kanagawa Pref.

HADANO, Japan - Shiro Kigawa, head of an amateur group studying fungi in Kanagawa Prefecture, shows a new variety of mushrooms harvested in the 1990s in the prefecture at the Hiratsuka City Museum in the prefecture on July 9, 2014, following the Mycological Society of Japan's recognition of the mushroom as a new species.
