Kaesong World Heritage

PYONGYANG, North Korea - Photo taken in September 2013 shows Namdae Gate in central Kaesong, North Korea. The UNESCO World Heritage Committee in June 2013 decided to inscribe historic monuments and sites in Kaesong, which was the capital of Korea's Koryo Dynasty (918-1392), on the U.N. agency's prestigious World Heritage List.
