The Southeast Asian country reported four new cases of dengue fever on Thursday, bringing the total number of infections to 548. The highest number of dengue patients was reported in the Lao capital Vientiane at 92, with 91 cases in Oudomxay, and 54 cases in Luang Namtha province. The health ministry urged authorities and people countrywide to remain vigilant and help control the spread of the mosquito-borne disease.
