Badain Jaran Desert sand Mountain Lake Group Inscribed on World Heritage List

INNER MONGOLIA, CHINA - MAY 9, 2020 - A view of Nanhaizi Lake, deep in the Badain Jaran Desert, Inner Mongolia, China, May 9, 2020. On July 26, 2024, at the 46th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in New Delhi, India, China's application of the Badain Jaran Desert sand Mountain lake group successfully passed the evaluation and successfully added to the World Heritage List.
