Swans arrive in Fukushima to spend winter

IWAKI, Japan - Bewick's Swans fly off from the Natsui River in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture, on Nov. 1, 2011. The Arctic tundra birds, which annually come to the area to spend winter, began to be seen in mid-October this year, according to a local civic group protecting the birds.
