According to data from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the 8-day Spring Festival holiday, 474 million domestic trips were made nationwide, an increase of 34.3% over the same period last year, and an increase of 19.0% over the same period in 2019 on a comparable basis; Domestic tourists spent 632.687 billion yuan, an increase of 47.3% year-on-year and an increase of 7.7% compared with 2019 on a comparable basis.
