Curators of the Tianyi Pavilion Library in China's Ningbo, the Medicean-Laurentian Library in Italy's Florence, and the Malatestiana Library in Italy's Cesena called on exchanges and cooperation among libraries in the world. Founded in 1561, Tianyi Pavilion or Tian Yi Ge is the oldest existing library in China which boasted a collection of 70,000 volume of antique books in its heyday.
