Gardeners working in the vegetable gardens of the Vatican on November 10, 2015. Massimiliano Nocce and Gilberto Bianchi are digging and watering in the little vegetable garden that produces the dairy vegetables for the pope and his staff. The gardens cover nearly one hundred acres of the Vatican's entire property. Besides the upkeep of the trees and plants, the gardeners also are in charge of providing floral decorations for ceremonies which take place on Saint Peter's Square and in the Basilica.
