Provincial police spokesman Mohammad Asif Waziri also confirmed the explosion. The blast took place at 11:00 a.m. local time at a cultural center during a ceremony held to honor journalists, police said. No group or individual claimed responsibility for the blast. Late Friday, a blast rocked Police District 5 of Kabul and injured two people. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Kabul. (XHTV)
