Mongolian boy with rare disease

Nyamdorj, a nine-year-old Mongolian boy is hospitalized Oct. 28 in Nagakute, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, for treatment of a rare disease that his supporters say could not be treated in Mongolia. He arrived in Japan on Oct. 27 to receive treatment at Aichi Medical University Hospital for a vascular malformation that in some cases leads to death. The cost of his travel and treatment, expected to come to around 3 million yen, will be paid by a fund set up by Mongolian singer Oyunna, who lives in Japan. The singer (R) accompanied him when he entered the hospital.
