Oat grass is a kind of nutritious and cold-resistant fodder plant. SOUNDBITE (Chinese): SHEN JUN, Head of a planting base of a local agriculture company "Our company's oat grass planting area has reached 20,000 mu (about 1,333 hectares) this year. In cooperation with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, we have improved planting methods, which helps us increase the production by more than 10 percent and get more revenue."
