Typhoon Dolphin, known in Japan as Typhoon No. 13, moved west near Okinawa's Minamidaito Island on Thursday, August 6, and is expected to approach Okinawa and Amami by Friday, with authorities warning of heavy rain and high waves from Kyushu to Kanto.
