Obama city receives letter from U.S. presidential hopeful Obama

OBAMA, Japan - An official of the city of Obama, Fukui Prefecture, shows a letter addressed to Mayor Toshio Murakami from U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama at city hall on March 4. Many people in the small coastal city in central Japan are supporting the U.S. senator's bid for the White House as he shares the same name. The senator thanked the city for its support in the letter.
