The nine injured were taken to hospital with burns. According to the emergency services of Galicia 112, the fire started at around 4 a.m. on Wednesday in the lower part of a five-storey building located in the vicinity of the Plaza America, center of Vigo. It took firefighters at least three hours to extinguish the fire. Police were investigating the incident as arson. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Vigo, Spain. (XHTV)
