US: Flights Canceled at Maui Airport, Stranding Passengers in Terminal

A magnitude 8.8 earthquake off Russia's eastern coast on Tuesday, July 29, triggered a tsunami warning for the Hawaiian Islands and prompted evacuations from coastal areas. All flights to and from Kahului Airport in Maui were canceled, and passengers were forced to shelter in the terminal.
