US: Anti-ICE Protest Draws Hundreds in Omaha Following Federal Raid at Local Business

Hundreds of people took to the streets in Omaha on Wednesday, June 11, to protest following an ICE raid at Glenn Valley Foods, a local meatpacking plant.

IT SYMBOLIZES THE SPIRIT OF AMERICAN YOUTH RISING FROM THE WAVES. THIS STATUE IS SURROUNDED BY PEBBLES SYMBOLIZING THE DIFFICULTY OF TANKS CROSSING THE BEACH. THE WHITE MARBLE STELES ARE IN THE SHAPE OF A LATIN CROSS OR IN THE SHAPE OF THE STAR OF DAVID FOR SOLDIERS OF THE JEWISH FAITH. THE BODIES OF 9,388 PEOPLE ARE BURIED IN THE CEMETERY, INCLUDING 307 UNKNOWN PEOPLE AND FOUR WOMEN. THESE PEOPLE MAINLY DIED ON THE DAY OF THE LANDING OR IN THE FOLLOWING

MULBERRY HARBOUR WAS MADE UP OF SEVERAL LARGE ELEMENTS PREFABRICATED IN ENGLAND, TRANSPORTED AND ASSEMBLED ON THE NORMANDY COAST. THIS ARTIFICIAL PORT HAS OFTEN BEEN CREDITED WITH THE SUCCESS OF THE BATTLE OF NORMANDY AND PRESENTED AS AN EXAMPLE OF LOGISTICAL AND MILITARY GENIUS.
