A wildfire tore through Croatia's coastline overnight into Friday, killing at least one person and injuring around 40 others near the tourist town of Omis. Around 1,200 residents and tourists were evacuated as the blaze, which broke out near Lokva Rogoznica, burned through 1,000 hectares of pine forest in just four hour.
