OSAKA, Japan - Hideo Murata (file photo), a popular singer of Japanese ''enka'' ballads, died of pneumonia at an Osaka hospital on June 13, his office said. He was 73. He had suffered from diabetes. His hits included ''Jinsei Gekijo'' (The Drama of Life) and ''Osho'' (The Shogi King).
