Miyamoto makes Broadway debut

NEW YORK, United States - Audiences arrive at a Broadway theater for the preview of ''Pacific Overtures'' on Nov. 12. Amon Miyamoto has become the first Japanese producer to make a foray into a Broadway musical. The actual performance of the musical, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the conclusion of the Treaty of Peace and Amity between the United States and Japan, will be held from Dec. 2 to the end of January.
