TOKYO, Japan - The ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) on June 30 formally appointed Sadatoshi Ozato, former head of the Management and Coordination Agency, as chairman of its decision-making General Council. Hiromu Nonaka and Shizuka Kamei were reappointed respectively as secretary general and chairman of the Policy Research Council -- the two other key party leadership posts.
