Freighter sinks off Wakayama after collision, 1 crew member miss

WAKAYAMA, Japan - A Japan Coast Guard vessel is in rescue operation off Wakayama Prefecture in the Pacific following collision between in search of the Cambodian-registered 1,208-ton Yin He No. 1 and the 313-ton Japanese freighter Eifuku Maru No. 7 on April 7. The Japanese ship sank after the collision, leaving one of its four crew members missing. (Kyodo)
