The batch of medicines, totaling 21,200 boxes, entered Shanghai through Pudong International Airport and was sent to Waigaoqiao bonded area for inspection immediately. After clearance, the medicines were distributed to hospitals all over the country to treat COVID-19 patients. China's National Medical Products Administration granted conditional approval for the imports of Paxlovid COVID-19 pill on February 11 this year.
