CAURO, Egypt - An ancient mummy, identified as that of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's most famous female pharaoh, was thrown open at the Egyptian Museum on June 27. Zahi Hawass, the country's chief archaeologist, announcing the identification at a press conference, called it ''one of the most important finds since the discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb.''
