OSAKA, Japan - Japan's Mari Ozaki hits the tape at Nagai stadium in Osaka in a time of 2:23:59 to place second in the Osaka International Women's Marathon on Jan. 30. Elena Prokopcuka of Latvia won the race in 2:22:56.

OSAKA, Japan - Elena Prokopcuka of Latvia smiles after winning her first Osaka International Women's Marathon title on Jan. 30. Prokopcuka hit the tape at Nagai stadium in Osaka in 2 hours, 22 minutes, 56 seconds, followed by JJapan's Mari Ozaki who clocked a time of 2:23:59.
