Russian soldiers relax with Japanese women in the garden of the Hotel Vesna. After Putyatin and his squadron of four Russian ships landed here in 1853, the Inasa area was used frequently by Russian visitors. This hotel was opened in November 1893, and the commander and staff of the Russian Far East Fleet participated in the ceremony. The people buried here include Dutch and Chinese who died in the Edo Period and Russians, Americans and Britons from the foreign settlement period.
