According to official Israeli figures, nine Israeli troops and six civilians have been killed by fire from Lebanon, while Hezbollah claims that 162 of their fighters were killed since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict. However, some residents from the border town of Ramia have chosen to remain steadfast in their hometown amid airstrikes instead of facing displacement as they have no other places to move.
