TOKYO, Japan - An October 1997 file photo shows India's legendary music maestro Ravi Shankar, who popularized Indian classical music the world over and who had a great influence on music in the West. Shankar died in the United States at age 92, Press Trust of India reported on Dec. 12, 2012.
