Protest Against ArcelorMittal, 2024 Olympics Partner - Toulouse

Sitting of delighted activists with placards. Manif action "Flame that shines, Promises that burn", a macabre procession with a "float", during the passage of the Olympic Flame in Toulouse. It will be followed by speeches by Mexican and Liberian defenders directly affected by ArcelorMittal's activities. The "recyclable steel" torch is manufactured by the steel giant ArcelorMittal, the world's 2nd largest steel producer and one of the most polluting sponsors of these supposedly green Games. As part of an international campaign targeting this particular sponsor and what lies behind it, a number of local organisations have joined forces to shine a spotlight on this player in Toulouse.
