KOBE, Japan - Rokuro Kitayama (file photo), former chairman of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, died of heart failure on Jan. 4 at a hospital in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, his family said Jan. 7. He was 85. Kitayama served as JFBA head from April 1986 to March 1988.
