DESIGNED BY VIOLLET LE DUC, THEY WERE RENOVATED TO MARK THE 850TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CATHEDRAL. HERE, THE RELIQUARY OF SAINT LOUIS, DESIGNED BY VIOLLET LE DUC AND MADE IN 1857 BY THE GOLDSMITH CHERTIER. IT CONTAINS THE SAINT'S RELICS: A LINEN TUNIC AND CHAINS OF PENANCE.
