US: Air Force Jet Crashes in Southern California, Pilot Ejects Safely

An F-16C crashed in a remote desert area near Trona in Southern California during a training mission on Wednesday, December 3. The pilot safely ejected and was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, reports say.
