Softbank subsidiary develops operating system for robots

TOKYO, Japan - A robot operated by a robot software dubbed V-Sido OS developed by Asratec Corp., a subsidiary wholly owned by Japanese communications giant Softbank Corp., performs during a presentation in Tokyo on June 11, 2014. The company said the V-Sido OS can control robots without complicated programming, adding that various kinds of robots regardless of their size or shape can be moved flexibly with instructions placed through smartphones and other devices.
