Japan: Smoke Comes From Singapore Airlines Plane, Prompting Runway Closure At Narita Airport

White smoke was reported coming from the left engine of the Singapore Airlines flight 638 after it landed at Narita International Airport on Monday morning, August 12. The incident led to the closure of Runway B for about 50 minutes. No injuries were reported.
