(231202) -- BEIJING, Dec. 2, 2023 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken on Oct. 26, 2023 shows buildings damaged by Hurricane Otis in Acapulco, state of Guerrero, Mexico. Otis struck Guerrero's coast on Oct. 25 as a category 5 storm on the Saffir-Simpson scale, leaving catastrophic damage in its wake mainly in the popular tourist resort of Acapulco. Heatwaves, torrential rains, floods, droughts and other natural disasters occurred one after another around the world in recent years. While impressed by the mighty power and vulnerability of nature, we genuinely feel that when it comes to tackling climate change, countries around the world are like passengers aboard the same ship.
