Symposium in Rome mulls papers about Christianity ban in feudal Japan

The Karamon Gate,Toshogu Shrine,Nikko

The Kara Gate stands at the front when going through the Yomei Gate of Toshogu. It looks simple with just white and black, but the sculpture of the Chinese sages carved on panels near the ceiling, and the pillars of the gate are covered with elaborate carvings of dragons going upstream and downstream. The Kara Gate stands in front after going through the Yomei Gate of Toshogu.
