The mission, made up of 111 troops and three canines, departed from San Oscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport in the Central American nation, and has teams specializing in rescue in vertical structures, collapsed structures and confined areas. Fernando Castaneda, head of the humanitarian mission, said that El Salvador has also experienced this type of disaster, so the government and the people believe that it is appropriate to provide aid to Türkiye.
