Snow showers and snow squalls moved across Michigan and Indiana as arctic air pushed into the Midwest, bringing gusty winds and sharply colder temperatures. In Michigan and parts of northern Indiana, lake-effect snow off the Great Lakes intensified snowfall at times, briefly reducing visibility and creating hazardous travel conditions despite generally light accumulations.
