Germany: Wildfire Breaks Out in Quedlinburg, Saxony-Anhalt

A forest fire broke out in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt, near the town of Quedlinburg, late on Wednesday, July 2, at around 10:30 p.m. Approximately 100 firefighters were deployed overnight to battle the blaze, and nearby residents were warned of heavy smoke.
