The Buckley Draw Fire ignited on Sunday, August 17, near Provo’s Slate Canyon in Utah. By Monday afternoon, it had burned 400 acres with 0% containment.

A tornado ripped through London in southeastern Kentucky overnight on May 16, leaving significant damage in its wake. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said at least 19 people were killed.
