A giant swarm of bees engulfed a pedestrian crossing outside Leeds Station in northern England on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, May 25, completely covering the crossing button on New Station Street and forcing commuters to dodge the insects. According to the British Beekeepers Association, the bees were likely clustering around their queen while scout bees searched for a new nesting site.
