France: Storm Goretti Sweeps Through Regions, Leaving Thousands Without Power

Storm Goretti swept across France, leaving 380,000 homes without power and causing widespread travel delays due to high winds, rain, and snow. In the northern region, the storm forced two nuclear reactors offline, felled trees, and shut down schools and ports as flooding and severe weather alerts continued.
