OITA, Japan - Former Defense Agency Director General Seishiro Eto speaks to reporters in Saiki, Oita Prefecture, er one of his secretaries was found to have collected at least 140 million yen in questionable funds over a nine-year period from 1996. His aide allegedly gathered 50,000-200,000 yen per month each from 17-18 companies as fees for information gathering by a company he set up in 1996.
