Provincial authorities in south Afghanistan's Kandahar province inaugurated a rehabilitation center for drug-addicted people on Thursday, deputy director of the provincial health department Sayed Ahmad Shadab said. The rehabilitation center with 30 beds formally opened in Takhta Pul district in the morning, providing medical treatment to any addict who gets admission here, the official said, adding that the facility would be upgraded to a 100-bed facility in the future.
