Maher El-Sherbini (L), a professor in the department of Japanese and Japanese Literature at Cairo University, holds in Cairo on Feb. 23, 2015, an original version of "Hadashi no Gen" ("Barefoot Gen"), a noted comic series about the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
