Kabuki actor Nakamura Kanzaburo dies

TOKYO, Japan - A November 2011 file photo shows prominent Kabuki actor Nakamura Kanzaburo (R) attending an event in Tokyo's Asakusa area. Kanzaburo died on Dec. 5, 2012, at the age of 57. He had made public that he was suffering from esophageal cancer. At C and L of the photo are Kanzaburo's sons Nakamura Kankuro and Nakamura Shichinosuke, also Kabuki actors.

Kabuki actor Nakamura Shichinosuke arrested for punching policem

TOKYO, Japan - Police arrested kabuki actor Nakamura Shichinosuke (in file photo) on the spot for punching a police officer on Jan. 30 in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward after a taxi driver complained to the officer that he did not pay for his ride. The 21-year-old actor, the second son of popular kabuki actor Nakamura Kankuro, 49, told investigators that he was drunk at the time. (Kyodo)
