KYOTO, Japan - The sand ripple marks of a Tofukuji Temple garden in Kyoto, western Japan, initially laid out by famous garden designer Mirei Shigemori in 1939, are reproduced on Oct. 24, 2014, in commemoration of the garden's designation as Japan's scenic beauty spot in June this year.
