TOKYO, Japan - Failed department store operator Sogo Co. on Sept. 24 closes its flagship store in Tokyo, capping the Yurakucho outlet's 43-year-long history. An in-store broadcast saying ''Yurakucho Sogo now ends all business'' was heard at 7 p.m. as store manager Masayuki Shiina and sales clerks lined up at the main entrance to hand out paper bags containing artificial flowers to customers leaving the store.
