Taiwan: Typhoon Krathon Leaves Trail Of Destruction 8

Typhoon Krathon struck southern Taiwan on Thursday, October 3, as a Category 1 storm, leaving a trail of destruction. So far, two deaths have been reported. This video shows a landslide caused by the typhoon on Xinfeng Street in Keelung City.

A passerby, named Huang Lijia, immediately extended hand of help. Huang jumped into the river and pulled the man to safety. He kept on operating CPR before the ambulance arrived. The injured, surnamed Liu, suffered a non-life-threatening injury. Huang used to serve as a military medic. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Hefei, China. (XHTV)
