The event, hosted by the Confucius Institute at Babes-Bolyai University, featured teenage competitors nationwide who demonstrated their Chinese language proficiency and cultural knowledge through speeches, quizzes, singing, dancing, and painting performances. Denisa-Elena David, a girl who studies Chinese at the Confucius Institute in Sibiu, central Romania, won the special prize and will represent Romania at the final stage in China.
